fundcraft, a digital-native fund operations platform in Europe, has announced an integration with Vestlane, a digital investor onboarding solution for private funds.
The firms say the move eliminates repetitive manual tasks and data duplication across systems, which according to the firm, allows fund managers and fundcraft’s service delivery experts to focus on higher-value work.
Documents and investor data no longer need to be downloaded, uploaded, or copied between portals — investor profiles and related information on Vestlane are now automatically synchronised within the fundcraft platform through a secure, real-time connection with Vestlane.
Ivo Schmiedt, founder and CEO at Vestlane, says: “We have worked closely with fundcraft for several years and share common clients and a common goal: to make fund administration faster, more digital, and investor-centric.
“With this integration, managers get a truly end-to-end digital setup, from investor onboarding and subscriptions to fund administration, tailored to the needs of modern venture capital and private equity firms.”
Olga Porro, co-founder and chief product officer at fundcraft, adds: “Together with Vestlane we’re delivering a truly end-to-end experience for fund managers and their investors.
“The fundcraft open platform strategy is designed to give asset managers real flexibility, enabling them to integrate specialised solutions like Vestlane in a fully integrated and unified experience.”
The two companies already share several clients, including b2venture, Rosberg Ventures, Spheres, and Multiple Capital, who use both platforms as part of their fund operations.
This integration is live, with managers now able to connect their Vestlane accounts within the fundcraft platform, synchronise data or documents for all existing and new investors, and manage investor information from a single platform.
Fabian Krüger, general counsel and compliance officer at b2venture, adds: “For us, the investor experience is at the core of fund management.
“Limited partners increasingly expect the same digital efficiency and transparency they see in other parts of their financial lives.
“We welcome this integration between fundcraft and Vestlane, which further simplifies our workflows and strengthens our ability to deliver the investor-centric experience our limited partners expect, from onboarding to reporting.”
