FundApps, a provider of compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting solutions for the global financial services industry, and WTax, a specialist in global withholding tax and class action recovery, are collaborating to help asset managers and asset owners address operational challenges in international investing.
The partnership enables both firms to offer their clients and other investment operations leaders, access to expertise across regulatory compliance, class actions, and withholding tax recovery.
Together, the two organisations aim to support investors as they manage increasingly complex cross-border requirements.
The firms say they intend to address inefficiencies, missed entitlements, and heightened regulatory risk created, as a result of compliance requirements, class action monitoring, and withholding tax processes often sitting in adjacent operational silos, despite being closely linked in practice.
Liam Ilic, director and global head of partnerships at WTax, comments: “This partnership brings together two specialists who understand different, but closely connected, parts of the investment lifecycle.
“By aligning our complementary capabilities, we’re helping firms improve efficiency, strengthen oversight, and act with confidence in complex jurisdictions.”
Christof Bays, head of partnerships at FundApps, adds: “Regulatory expectations continue to evolve, and firms need partners who can help them stay ahead of change — not just keep up with it.
“This collaboration supports clients by connecting tax and class action recovery with regulatory monitoring, three areas that are becoming more intertwined as markets globalise.”
