Winterflood partners with JTC Group for a custody platform

Winterflood’s custody business, Winterflood Business Services (WBS), and JTC Group, a global professional services business, have partnered to provide a custody platform to JTC’s clients in key markets.

The collaboration will bring WBS’s technology and infrastructure to JTC’s clients — a move, the firm says, aimed at enhancing and modernising international custody solutions.

The firm adds that the partnership will combine JTC’s client relationships and governance expertise with WBS’s custody capabilities.

Winterflood will provide its global custody and execution services across JTC’s clients, via a platform designed specifically for professional services businesses.

WBS has established a dedicated Jersey-based team, bringing together local expertise and a deep understanding of the relevant market and regulatory framework, says the firm.

The operation is led by Marina Buckley, CEO of Winterflood Jersey, supported by specialists in dealing, operations, compliance and relationship management.

The new platform will centralise investments under administration, improving data quality and reporting with robust and scalable functionality.

These services will operate under JTC’s established oversight and governance framework.

Buckley says: “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with JTC as we extend our footprint into the Channel Islands.

“This step demonstrates our commitment to providing clients with the best possible combination of technology, expertise and service.

“Establishing a local presence reinforces our focus on helping firms operate efficiently in an increasingly complex regulatory and investment landscape.”

Paul Fosse, group director and group head of Banking, Treasury, and Investments at JTC adds: “At JTC, we continuously innovate to deliver outstanding service and value to our clients. Together with Winterflood, we’re setting a new standard for custody services.

“The partnership allows us to offer a personalised, technology-focused custody solution that provides clients with a transparent and efficient digital experience.

“We look forward to delivering these benefits to even more clients across our global platform.”
