IQ-EQ, a provider of solutions for alternative assets and corporate services, has supported a €2 billion Irish residential investment platform, acting as alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) to the fund underpinning the transaction.
The firm worked closely with its clients and key stakeholders to facilitate the evolution of a large-scale real estate structure, ensuring governance, regulatory oversight, and continuity throughout the change.
IQ?EQ’s support included enabling the transition of the joint venture partner, coordinating closely with Dutch pensions group, All Pension Group (APG), Kennedy Wilson, and the CWTC Multi-Family Irish Collective Asset-management Vehicle, and working alongside their legal advisers to deliver an efficient restructuring process.
The underlying platform is focused on delivering large-scale residential development across Dublin as part of a joint venture between Kennedy Wilson and APG.
Tim Kelly, client relationship director, Ireland at IQ?EQ, notes: “By working closely with our clients and their advisers, we were able to support a smooth transition of the joint venture, navigate regulatory requirements and help position the platform for long-term success.”
