NtisoAkhona acquires a minority stake in FundRock

Apex Group, a global financial services provider, has announced that NtisoAkhona has acquired a minority stake in its wholly-owned subsidiary,FundRock Collective Investments.
NtisoAkhona is an investment consortium led by South African business leaders Mcebisi Jonas and Noluthando Gosa.
Apex Group says that this move reinforces its commitment to local ownership and the continued growth of its South African operations.
According to the firm, this investment builds on the longstanding relationship between Apex Group and NtisoAkhona and further aims at strengthening FundRock Collective Investments South Africa’s position as a provider of collective investment scheme management.
Already a shareholder partner in other Apex Group South African businesses, NtisoAkhona is expanding its investment in the group through this transaction, which the firm says further strengthens Apex Group’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment ownership structure.
