R3, HACERA and Blockchain Technology Partners intergrate DAML language

R3, HACERA and Blockchain Technology Partners have integrated Digital Asset’s DAML language to their individual platforms.

Digital Asset developed DAML as a smart contract language to enable platform and cloud deployment by simplifying blockchain platforms and allowing users to centre their efforts on business logistics.

DAML has been integrated into Hyperledger Fabric and R3’s Corda blockchain solutions, and Amazon Web Services’ Aurora cloud storage engine following customer demand.

This marks the second Hyperledger structure that enables DAML smart contracts.

Yuval Rooz, CEO and co-founder of Digital Asset, said: “Our vision to transform finance has evolved into an even bigger opportunity to accelerate innovation.”

He added: “Extending the power of DAML to multiple platforms is an exciting milestone and a continuation of our strategy to enable DAML to work anywhere and give clients more flexibility and choice to use the platform technology that best meets their needs.”

Brian Behlendorf, executive director at Hyperledger, commented: “Hyperledger members collaborating to integrate open source projects increases each of their value to more than the sum of the parts, enabling developers to write DAML applications once and choose which platform to deploy to.”
