Volante Technologies has entered into a collaboration with Circle to integrate stablecoin payment and settlement capabilities into its payments platform.
The collaboration will bring workflows for Circle-issued USDC into Volante’s Payments platform, allowing financial institutions to assess stablecoin transactions alongside their existing payment infrastructure.
Volante clients will be able to test workflows including USDC minting and redemption, beneficiary wallet registration, funding, notifications, and wallet-to-wallet payments.
The integration is designed to allow banks to explore stablecoin payments without establishing a separate digital asset technology stack, while retaining existing operational controls and on and off ramp processes.
The firms say the collaboration reflects the development of multi-rail payment models that combine traditional payment systems with digital asset-based payment methods.
Nikhil Chandhok, chief product and technology officer at Circle, says: “As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations.
“Our collaboration with Volante does exactly that by bringing USDC capabilities into the systems, controls, and processes banks already use.”
Deepak Gupta, chief product, engineering, and delivery officer at Volante Technologies, adds: “For banks, stablecoin adoption is not about building a separate digital asset stack; it is about integrating a new rail into the payment infrastructure they already depend on.”
