Chen will be responsible for accelerating growth in the US and supporting clients in leveraging big xyt solutions to transform their trading performance and analysis.

Based in New York, Chen joins big xyt from Societe Generale where she spent eight years as managing director, head of global execution services, overseeing programme trading, electronic trading, cash equities, exchange-traded funds, and futures.

Prior to Societe Generale, she spent seven years at Goldman Sachs and previously UBS.

Commenting on her appointment, Chen said: “I’m delighted to join the highly skilled and professional team at big xyt. There is a tremendous focus on client service at big xyt in terms of tailoring its solutions to the needs of individual client segments, which is integral to their approach and success.”

“I’m looking forward to implementing big xyt’s data analytics and TCA products to a broader set of US industry participants, providing them with increased market structure information to support and transform their trading decisions with higher performance,” she concluded.

Robin Mess, CEO of big xyt, added: “I’m pleased to welcome Jenny Chen to our team. During her career, Chen has gained crucial experience in financial services and has established a trusted network of relevant clients.”

“Over the past six years, we have been increasing our footprint in the global community, and Chen’s appointment will significantly accelerate our growth and perception as a global firm.
