Thomas Legendre promoted at Value Partners

Value Partners (UK), part of Hong Kong-based asset management first Value Partners Group, has appointed Thomas Legendre as associate director of its EMEA business.

In the London-based role, Legendre is tasked with identifying which of the company’s investment solutions is best matched to clients’ China and Asia operations. He will also support the company’s distribution capability expansion, with a focus on Switzerland.

Legendre has more than five years of industry experience, and has been with Value Partners since 2020. He joined the firm as an assistant manager for the EMEA business, later becoming senior manager.

Prior to this, Legendre was a junior global strategist at investment management firm Beauclerc.

Commenting on his appointment, Legendre says: “I am eager to continue driving value on behalf of clients and fostering Value Partners’ growth across the EMEA region. The Asia region offers significant opportunities and diversification benefits to international investors and asset owners.”

David Townsend, managing director of Value Partners’ EMEA business, adds: “Thomas has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication and expertise in driving our business forward. We are confident that in his new role, Thomas will continue to excel and play a pivotal part in our continued success across the EMEA region."
