Hogg appointed CEO of Alter Domus
27 May 2025 UK

Alter Domus has appointed Charlotte Hogg as CEO.
She succeeds Doug Hart who will stay on in an advisory capacity as vice-chair of debt capital markets.
Possessing over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Hogg joins from Visa, where she has been serving as CEO for Europe.
Previously she served as chief operating officer for the Bank of England and head of retail distribution and intermediaries at Santander UK.
She comments: “Alter Domus’ leaders have met that challenge and have established a strong and resilient platform. The opportunity now is to build on that. Alter Domus’ commitment to delivering technological innovation, outstanding client experience and private markets know-how will make the business an invaluable partner for asset managers as they continue to scale and expand their offerings.”
Hogg’s appointment follows that of Mark Wiseman, former global head of BlackRock's active equities business and chairman of BlackRock's alternatives business, as chairman of Alter Domus.
Wiseman says: “The depth of [Hogg’s] experience in financial services across both sides of the Atlantic will enable her to play a transformative role and galvanise our teams globally — we’re delighted to have her on board."
