Sonata One appoints Ashra

Sonata One, a private funds clearinghouse, has appointed Nikhil Ashra as senior commercial development director.
Based in New York, Ashra will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisitions and the expansion of the firm’s channel partnerships.
Ashra brings over 15 years of experience in business development and relationship management within the alternative investment space.
He held senior roles at iCapital and Canoe Intelligence and, according to the firm, has firsthand knowledge of the operational challenges facing private markets managers, and how technology can be deployed to drive scale and efficiency across the fund lifecycle.
