Clear Street managing director and head of global custody Erik Chiarella has departed the firm after six years.

Chiarella announced his departure in a post on LinkedIn?, stating that 8 May marked his final day at the company.

During his time at the company, he played a role in building the firm’s technology and operations infrastructure supporting tax operations, asset servicing, and corporate actions.

Most recently, Chiarella served as managing director and head of global custody, overseeing Clear Street’s global tax operations, corporate actions, asset servicing, settlements, and DevOps teams.

In the online statement, Chiarella says: “After 6 incredible years, I have made the decision to leave Clear Street. Today marks my last day at the firm.

“Joining in the early days of the firm and helping build and scale the company from the ground up has been more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

“What began as an ambitious vision evolved into a global business helping reshape modern financial infrastructure, and I am proud to have played a part in that journey.”

He adds: “Thank you to all of my colleagues, partners, and customers who were along for the ride. You are the primary reason why my experience was so memorable.

“I leave with tremendous appreciation for the experience and immense pride on everything we were able to accomplish together.”
