The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) has re-elected Cristina Ribó Sörensen, deputy director at the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), as director of the ANNA management body.

The appointment was confirmed during ANNA’s General Meeting in Zurich, hosted by SIX Financial Information, the National Numbering Agency (NNA) for Switzerland, on 11-12 June 2026.

Alongside the re-election, ANNA approved Bursa Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd as a new partner organisation for Brunei Darussalam.

The association also confirmed NNA transfers in China and Sri Lanka.

In China, responsibility for the NNA role has been transferred to China Securities Information Technology Service (CSTECH) from the China Securities Industry Standardisation Technical Committee (CSISC).

Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, the NNA role has moved from the Colombo Stock Exchange to the Central Depository System.

Sörensen manages Spain’s NNA through the CNMV, the country’s securities market regulator.

As deputy director, she is responsible for reporting obligations and compliance within the regulator’s Secondary Market Department.

In addition to her role at ANNA, Sörensen serves as a board member of the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) and has been a long-standing advocate for financial instrument identification, classification, and reference data standards.

Sörensen comments: “I am delighted to continue serving on the ANNA Board as regulatory reporting and financial data standards continue to evolve across our industry.

“Robust international identifiers remain fundamental to transparent, secure, and efficient markets, and by working collectively, we can advance data standards, elevate data quality, and ultimately support a more effective global financial ecosystem.”
