Aztec Group, a provider of private market services, has appointed Sangjune Park as chief architect and data director.
Park will lead Aztec's data strategy and capabilities, aiming to help strengthen how the business uses data to enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and deliver greater value for clients.
Park brings experience as a technology and data leader, having delivered large-scale technology change programmes across complex, regulated organisations.
Most recently, he worked at Just Group, where he partnered closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to help shape enterprise architecture and data strategy.
Throughout his career, he has led major technology modernisation initiatives, strengthened data governance frameworks, and developed scalable data capabilities that help organisations make better use of information and support sustainable growth.
Commenting on his appointment, Jason Adams, chief technology officer at Aztec Group, says: “As the alternatives market becomes more complex and data-driven, the ability to harness data effectively is central to how we deliver value for our clients.
“Sangjune brings deep expertise across data, architecture, and technology strategy, and his appointment reflects our continued investment in our data capabilities to provide clients with access to trusted information, helping them to unlock insights, and make better decisions.”
Park adds: “I'm excited to be joining Aztec at such an important stage in its evolution. The business has a clear vision, strong culture, and a genuine ambition to redefine the future of premium fund administration, and data has a fundamental role to play in achieving that.
“I look forward to working with colleagues across the business to strengthen our data capabilities, support innovation, and help deliver the next generation of technology-enabled client service.”
