MUFG develops Wealth Management Digital Platform

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) has announced the development of its Wealth Management Digital Platform (WMDP), which will offer optimal solutions to high-net-worth customers.

WMPF is a cross-firm common platform that consists of three functions, Holistic View displays quick overview information regarding customers and advisors of MUFG.

Next Best Action (NBA) supports sales activities of advisors and delivers recommendations using analytical models for the next action to be taken in light of the customer's situation.

Goal Planning System (GPS) is a tool for visualising customer balance sheets and simulating solutions to issues related to customers’ total assets.

MUFG will employ WMDP to understand the life goals of MUFG customers and propose solutions for asset succession, business succession, asset management and other requirements.

The platform will be deployed in the second half of fiscal 2021 at MUFG subsidiaries MUFG Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.
