AccessFintech expands leadership team 10 June 2025US Reporter: Clelia Frondaroli

AccessFintech has welcomed several new members to its leadership team, in support of its next phase of growth.
John Shay, former chairman of Acadia, and more recently CEO of American Financial Exchange (AFX), has been named as acting CEO. He holds over 30 years of senior management experience across a number of financial institutions, including Nasdaq and Virtu.
On the growth of the business, he says: “Today’s announcement of our new leadership team builds on that strong foundation — one defined by industry experience, execution discipline and a deep commitment to our clients — and positions us for our next phase of growth as we work to further scale the business.”
Existing business unit heads have also been appointed to the leadership team. This includes Chris Daur, who has swapped roles from executive vice president to chief revenue officer, and Tom Granelli, who has been named as chief product officer following his position as head of product line. Pardeep Cassells has also become chief client officer, following her year-long tenure as head of client experience.
