Bybit has listed DoubleZero (2Z), a token that backs a low-latency networking layer, introducing 2Z trading against both USDT and USDC.
This listing offers Bybit users access to an infrastructure-based asset aimed at improving block propagation, validator equity, and network reliability across distributed ecosystems.
2Z is supported by the Solana ecosystem, on Solana led by Austin, a previous member of the Solana Foundation.
DoubleZero uses a physical method for blockchain scaling, operating on a permissionless fibre network in which data is routed directly between nodes through independently managed links, enabling efficient packet transmission.
Deposits for 2SZ have opened, trading for 2Z/UDT pair and 2Z/USDC is now live and withdrawals are planned to open on 3 October at 10:00 UTC.
The firm says DoubleZero’s method of network acceleration demonstrates hardware-aligned protocols are starting to form a larger role in blockchain scalability.
