Oak Pensioenfonds, a Dutch pension fund, has named BNP Paribas as its global custodian and administrator.

The agreement will see BNP Paribas providing custody and administration services, including investment administration, compliance, and performance measurement, to Oak Pensioenfonds.

The company selected BNP Paribas due to its strong local presence within the Netherlands, as well as its expertise in the Dutch pension sector.

Paul de Geus, executive board member of Oak Pensioenfonds, says: “BNP Paribas not only showed a convincing transition and implementation plan, but also demonstrated strong local commitment and investment in relationship management.

“We are delighted to support Oak Pensioenfonds during this important phase of change. This mandate confirms our ability to effectively support Dutch pension funds in a dynamic market environment,” adds Mark Schilstra, head of securities services Netherlands at BNP Paribas.

The company reports that the onboarding and migration process is currently underway, where the deal should be effective 1 July 2025.
