Yealand Fund Services has been appointed as Authorised Corporate Director, fund administrator, and registrar for Argonaut Capital Partners' umbrella fund structure, taking responsibility for two established sub-funds.

The appointment covers the YFS Argonaut Absolute Return Fund and YFS Argonaut Flexible Fund, with Yealand assuming operational control from 1 July. The move follows a service provider review by the London-based investment partnership.

“We are delighted to have Yealand Fund Services appointed as the ACD to the Argonaut Funds,” says Barry Norris, founding partner at Argonaut Capital. "Following a review of our service providers we believe they are the right partner to support the funds as they grow."

Yealand, founded in 2008, operates as a hosted ACD fund management company providing compliance and risk oversight to external investment managers. The firm combines regulatory oversight with fund administration services for alternative investment strategies.

Rob Leedham, chief executive at Yealand, says the appointment marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership. “Everyone here at Yealand is excited to build a strong and lasting partnership with the Argonaut team as they build upon their continued growth and success,” he notes.

Argonaut Capital Partners operates two strategies: the Argonaut Absolute Return long/short fund and the recently launched Argonaut Flexible long-only strategy. Both focus on absolute rather than relative returns, serving institutions, wealth managers, family offices and private individuals.
