Gen II Fund Services, a global private capital fund administrator, has been licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) to provide fund administration services for Guernsey-domiciled private market structures.

This has been done in response to growing demand from asset managers structuring funds in the jurisdiction.

The firm says that the expansion reflects sustained client interest in Guernsey-based private capital structures, alongside Gen II's established experience supporting such entities across private equity, private credit, and real assets strategies.

Michael Johnson, chief commercial officer at Gen II Fund Services, says: “Guernsey is an important jurisdiction in global private capital structuring, particularly for managers seeking stability, regulatory clarity and international credibility.

“Having secured the required GFSC licences to provide fund administration services in Guernsey, we are reinforcing our commitment to the jurisdiction and ensuring our clients can access consistent, high-quality administration support where and when they need it.”
