Waystone, a provider of specialist services to the asset management industry, has been appointed by Lunate, an Abu Dhabi-based global investment firm and exchange traded fund (ETF) manager, to support its suite of Irish Collective Asset-management Vehicle (ICAV) ETFs.

Under the agreement, Waystone will provide management company services for Lunate's ICAV ETF products.

Through Waystone's ETF solution and experience supporting global ETF issuers, Lunate will benefit from institutional-grade governance, regulatory oversight, and operational support, says the firm.

As investor demand for transparent, cost-efficient, and liquid investment solutions continues to increase, Lunate has been expanding its ETF offering to provide investors with access to innovative and differentiated investment opportunities.

The firm’s Irish ICAV ETF suite includes multiple thematic and conventional investment strategies, offering investors a comprehensive suite of ETFs to construct balanced portfolios and gain access to high-growth sectors and long-term structural trends shaping the global economy.

Paul Heffernan, CEO of Waystone ETFs, says: “We are delighted to partner with Lunate as it continues to expand its ETF suite in Europe. Our role is to provide the institutional infrastructure, regulatory expertise and operational support that enables Lunate to scale with confidence.

“The growth of Lunate's ETF products reflects the increasing maturity and adoption of ETFs globally. With 20 years' experience operating in the Middle East, Waystone is proud to support Lunate and clients in the region as they broaden access to investment opportunities.”

Sherif Salem, partner and head of Public Markets, Lunate, adds: "As the leading provider of ETFs from the MENA region, we are pleased to partner with Waystone as we continue to develop our differentiated and innovative ETF platform for European investors.

“Our growing range of conventional and thematic ETFs is designed to cater to evolving investor needs and offer efficient access to attractive investment themes.

“Partnering with Waystone provides us with a strong platform for our next phase of growth in Europe, underpinned by its deep ETF expertise and proven track record.”
