Kane, a provider of specialist fund administration services, has announced that Kane Solutions (Mauritius) has been granted a Management Company (ManCo) licence by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius.
The licence enables Kane to provide a range of management company services supporting entities throughout their lifecycle, from establishment and structuring through ongoing governance, compliance, and administration.
Core services include corporate structuring, company secretarial services, governance support, financial accounting, and reporting and tax compliance.
These capabilities are supported by Kane’s proprietary integrated management system (IMS) platform, which delivers an integrated framework for administrative, governance, and reporting activities.
Kane’s Mauritius operations are led by Harish Bhoyroo, who has served as managing director since 2021.
Bhoyroo brings nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked in Mauritius, South Africa, India, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, and the Isle of Man.
Kane also provides fund administration services in Mauritius.
Commenting on the announcement, Bhoyroo says: “Securing our ManCo licence is a significant step for Kane and reinforces our commitment to Mauritius as a strategic International Financial Centre.
“The jurisdiction continues to attract international businesses due to its strong regulatory framework and position as a gateway to Africa and India.
“By combining our ManCo capabilities with our existing expertise, we can now provide a seamless, end-to-end solution, supporting both established entities and new market entrants.”
John Uprichard, group CEO at Kane Solutions, adds: “Today’s announcement reflects Kane’s ongoing commitment to providing a truly global service.
“As client requirements continue to evolve, we are focused on building a platform that combines local expertise with international reach, enabling us to support increasingly complex and cross-border objectives."
