Gen II appoints Krastin

Gen II Fund Services welcomes Niel Krastin as director of Private Equity Funds, strengthening its local private equity capabilities as the business continues to expand in Guernsey.
Krastin brings 20 years of financial services and fund administration experience to the role, spanning across fund accounting, financial reporting, operations, and client service.
Krastin has held a series of senior fund administration and client service positions in the Guernsey jurisdiction, giving him significant local experience, says the firm.
Most recently, he acted as client relationship director, Funds at IQ-EQ, and prior to that he spent nearly four years with Apex Group in the Channel Islands Branch holding various senior positions.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than 12 years in asset management in South Africa with PSG Asset Management, more than eight of which was leading a fund accounting division.
Speaking on the appointment, Matt Beresford, country head, UK and Channel Islands at Gen II Fund Services, says: “Niel brings to Gen II a strong technical fund administration experience, senior client service expertise, and a deep understanding of the Guernsey market.
“We’re happy to have Niel join Gen II and proud to be building our presence in Guernsey with experienced people on the ground in support of our clients.”
