CACEIS to appoint Barbéris as deputy CEO

CACEIS has proposed the appointment of Jean-Jacques Barbéris as deputy CEO in charge of coverage and digital assets, subject to approval at the company’s next board meeting.
Barbéris joins CACEIS from Amundi, where he served as head of Institutional and Corporate Clients Coverage and oversaw the environmental, social and governance (ESG) department.
He was also a member of Amundi’s general management and executive board.
In addition, Barbéris has served as chairman of Amundi Germany and CPR Asset Management since 2021.
Before joining Amundi, he worked as adviser for economic and financial affairs within the office of the French president between 2013 and 2016.
Prior to that, he served on the staff of former French economy and finance minister Pierre Moscovici.
Barbéris joins CACEIS from Amundi, where he served as head of Institutional and Corporate Clients Coverage and oversaw the environmental, social and governance (ESG) department.
