Equiom, a provider of fiduciary services to the private wealth, institutional, and corporate sectors, has appointed Sharon Rogers as executive director of Private Wealth and Family Office and Allister Carey as director of Corporate Services.

The firm says that the appointments have further strengthened its senior leadership in Guernsey and supports the continued development of its services.

Rogers has more than 30 years of experience across the international fiduciary and private wealth sector.

In her new role, she will oversee complex client relationships and work closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and their advisers to deliver tailored fiduciary and family office solutions.

Her expertise spans international structuring, succession planning, family governance, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strategic leadership.

Rogers has also joined the board of Equiom in Guernsey.

Carey brings more than 20 years of experience in Guernsey’s trust and company sector and will lead the growth and performance of Equiom’s Corporate Services and Employee Retirement and Rewards offering.

He will be responsible for client service delivery, team development, governance, and operational excellence.

His experience includes managing complex corporate and pension structures for international clients, including large private equity houses and listed companies.

Commenting on the appointments, Marie McNeela, managing director in Guernsey and head of Channel Islands at Equiom, says: “Sharon and Allister bring an exceptional breadth of technical, leadership and client experience to our Guernsey team.

“Their appointments reflect our continued investment in Guernsey and our commitment to building on the business’s heritage, established client relationships and deep local expertise.

“Guernsey continues to play an important role in Equiom’s international network, and we are well positioned to support clients and advisers seeking experienced, relationship-led support across increasingly complex private wealth and corporate requirements.”

Rogers adds: “Equiom has a strong opportunity to build on the depth of expertise already within the Guernsey team and across the wider Group.

“Clients and their advisers are increasingly looking for providers that combine technical capability with agility, strong governance, and a genuinely personal approach.

“I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to strengthen those relationships and deliver solutions that support clients’ long-term objectives.”
