Suntera, a global independent provider of bespoke funds, corporate, and private wealth services, has appointed Gemma Qin to the role of global integration director to support the firm’s ongoing growth and acquisitions strategy.
In her new role, Qin will lead and coordinate Suntera’s global integration activities, enabling the firm to realise the full value of acquisitions and maintain the high standards of service and experience expected by both colleagues and clients, says the firm.
Based in the UK, she will work closely with teams across Suntera’s global network and business functions to ensure people, processes, and infrastructure are all integrated in line with its ambitions and values.
Qin has previously worked as a business consulting manager at EY, strategic change advisor at DLA Piper, and business risk advisory consultant at Deloitte.
Commenting on her appointment, Qin says: “Suntera has a clear ambition to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions, and the quality and pace of its recent expansion create an exciting opportunity to build on that momentum.
“I’m looking forward to working with teams across the group to develop a consistent and scalable approach to integration, bringing together our people, capabilities, and technology while protecting what makes each acquired business successful.
“Done well, integration is not simply about combining businesses; it is about accelerating value creation for our clients, colleagues, and the wider group.
David Hudson, CEO of Suntera adds: “Gemma brings a deep understanding of our business, a collaborative approach to bringing people together, and a proven ability to turn strategy into meaningful outcomes.
“She will undoubtedly play a key role as we continue to strengthen and scale our global organisation and successfully bring together the various components that make Suntera so special. I’m delighted to welcome her to our team.”
