Morpho, a blockchain-based credit network, has appointed Brian Foster to its leadership team as head of go-to-market (GTM), following more than seven years at Coinbase, where he worked on the firm’s infrastructure and institutional businesses.
At Coinbase, Foster also led several of its commercial relationships, including work with BlackRock and the US federal government.
In his new role, he will be responsible for Morpho’s GTM as the company scales adoption across fintechs, financial institutions, and other businesses developing onchain credit products.
Paul Frambot, co-founder and CEO of Morpho, says: “Brian has a unique track record of bringing crypto infrastructure to some of the world’s largest financial institutions, fintechs, and governments.
“He will play a critical role in Morpho’s next chapter as we scale from a leading crypto credit protocol into the foundation for global credit markets.”
Foster adds: “Morpho has built one of the most important capabilities in onchain finance and has incredible momentum as it evolves from protocol adoption to becoming infrastructure for major financial institutions.”
