Bank of America, BNY Mellon and Citi have invested US$20 million in Genesis Global, a low-code application development platform for financial markets organisations
The integration will classify and group more than 1,000 digital assets, which will help investors understand market, liquidity, credit, operational and other risks, both at the level of individual assets and whole sectors
The connectivity will allow firms to automatically match claims before sending them to DTC for straight-through-processing and intraday settlement via securities payment orders
The research, which polled 200 financial services professionals, was conducted at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Operations Conference in May 2022
