Clearstream has collaborated with global investment firm Carlyle, to broaden the distribution of the firm’s open-ended private markets solutions to wealth management clients.
According to the post-trade services provider, the partnership will leverage Clearstream Fund Services’ distribution platform, simplifying access to private market funds for a wider investor base.
With this move, Clearstream aims to improve investor experience while optimising efficiency and reducing costs.
The partnership provides Carlyle with access to accredited investors through Clearstream’s network of over 300 distribution partners, including large global wealth managers, with a strong presence in Switzerland, Germany, and Asia Pacific.
In addition, the partnership will focus on easing the complexities of private market fund distribution and support wealth managers seeking to distribute private markets investments to their clients.
Moritz Dechow, head of distribution for Clearstream Fund Services, states: “We are proud to partner with Carlyle to facilitate broader access to the company’s private market offerings. This collaboration underscores Clearstream’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that streamline the complexities of private market investing.
“We believe that Carlyle will benefit significantly from our broad distribution network, enhanced by our advanced digital platform and our long-standing expertise in alternative investments.”
Sophie Dodson, head of global wealth distribution for Europe at Carlyle, and Stuart Medlen, a managing director at Carlyle, add: “We are delighted to partner with Clearstream on our growing list of open-ended strategies. We look forward to their solutions continuing to expand our reach in the international wealth channel.”
