Titanbay and Coller Capital have formed a partnership to bring Coller Capital’s evergreen secondaries funds to European wealth managers through Titanbay's technology.
Under the partnership, wealth managers will be able to access, subscribe, redeem, and manage client allocations to Coller Secondaries Funds through Titanbay's technology — TradeEngine, removing the manual processes and operational friction that have long kept private markets out of reach for most individual private wealth clients.
The firm says TradeEngine is the first technology built to trade evergreen private markets funds at scale.
It automates subscriptions, redemptions, and allocations end to end, from client onboarding through to order processing, and ongoing servicing.
For asset managers, the firm says this means distributing an evergreen fund into the wealth channel with less manual overhead, while for wealth managers, it allows the offering of evergreen funds to clients through the systems they already use.
Michael Gruener, co-CEO of Titanbay, says: “Distributing an evergreen fund into the wealth channel is one of the hardest operational problems in private markets. Nobody had built the technology to solve it at scale, so we did.
“Coller Capital is a leader in secondaries, and this partnership shows what becomes possible when the operations work seamlessly, for the asset manager distributing the fund and the wealth manager accessing it.”
Boris Maeder, partner, head of International Private Wealth Distribution at Coller Capital, adds: “Coller has been at the forefront of secondaries for over 35 years, giving private wealth clients access to diversified, already-seasoned portfolios.
“Partnering with Titanbay gives wealth managers an additional route to access that expertise, through an efficient operational platform.”
