Smartstream to release new version of Smart Reconciliations Premium

Smartstream has announced a new version of Smart Reconciliations Premium, introducing agentic AI that can investigate, progress, and resolve reconciliation exceptions autonomously.
With this new release, Smart Agents will no longer surface a break for someone to work, they will be able to investigate it, act on it, and close it, under centralised governance and with a full audit trail.
It aims to deliver a lower total cost of ownership by approximately 25 per cent, and 50 per cent more throughput on hardware clients already own.
The release is built on four principles Smartstream describes as GRIT: governance, ROI, integration, and trust.
The new version will be showcased at Sibos in Miami from 28 September to 1 October 2026.
