Broadridge promotes Cowley

Broadridge has promoted Mike Cowley to general manager of Global Proxy, effective immediately.
Cowley will lead Global Proxy, says the firm, and drive business strategy, growth, and operations.
For the past six months Cowley has led Global Proxy as interim general manager, and in his expanded role will be responsible for the performance of the global proxy business.
The firm states he will be part of the Investor Communications Solutions (ICS) leadership team and play a role in the execution of Broadridge's agenda in international markets.
Additionally, Cowley will be responsible for leveraging new capabilities around institutional governance to deliver incremental value to clients across the custody and custody value chain.
Speaking on the appointment of Cowley, Swatika Rajaram, president, Bank & Broker-Dealer Solutions at Broadridge, says: “Mike has turned strategic priorities into action, advancing AI and automation while strengthening our operations.
