Gresham has launched Control Studio, an AI-enabled, self-service application for its control reconciliation product.
The solution aims to enable business users to build and maintain complex reconciliation controls, including multi-way reconciliations across multiple data sources, without needing coding or specialist configuration skills.
Using generative AI, Control Studio helps users translate their knowledge of trading, settlement, and clearing into the configuration required by Gresham’s deterministic rules engines, which are built to handle the speed and complexity of near-real-time banking systems and multi-way real-time reconciliation.
Through a guided, modern AI-enabled interface, users can configure data sources, matching rules, validations, and exception workflows in the language of the business.
Studio enables users to build controls directly against sample data, allowing them to see the impact of changes before they go live.
Neil Vernon, global head of Product — Control and Data Service at Gresham, says:
“Control Studio puts the people who understand the data in control of the process, using generative AI to turn business requirements into the rules and configuration needed by Control.
“That means firms can respond faster as products, processes, and regulatory requirements change, while keeping the governance, auditability, and complexity they need in production.”
