Securitize has unveiled plans to integrate with the Stellar network to expand blockchain infrastructure available to institutional asset managers seeking to bring TradFi assets onchain.

Securitize intends to support the issuance and management of tokenised financial assets on Stellar.

Stellar’s capabilities span asset issuance, fast settlement, and features for regulated use cases, with the integration aiming to broaden the range of networks Securitize can support in line with the increasing adoption of tokenisation.

Speaking on the partnership, co-founder and CEO of Securitize Carlos Domingo says: “We’re excited to integrate with the Stellar network and bring Securitize’s regulated infrastructure to an ecosystem that is already helping drive the adoption of tokenised financial products.”

Denelle Dixon, CEO and executive director of the Stellar Development Foundation, adds: “Securitize has helped establish tokenisation as a practical solution for major financial institutions.

“We're excited to work together to expand the infrastructure available to asset managers and support the next generation of tokenised financial products on Stellar.”

According to Securitize, the integration reflects its continued aim of providing institutional asset managers with multi-chain blockchain infrastructure and the regulatory and operational standards necessary for TradFi products.
