State Street has appointed Riccardo Lamanna as country head for Italy.

As Italy country head, Lamanna will lead State Street's Investment Services and client coverage strategy in Italy, with responsibility for client service, business growth, regulatory engagement, and governance.

Lamanna will retain his responsibilities as head of Products for State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI) and continue serving as a member of the SSBI Executive Management board.

Lamanna brings extensive leadership experience across banking, securities services, wealth management, and business transformation.

During his tenure at State Street, he has held a number of senior leadership positions across Product, Alpha, Global Services Italy and State Street Bank.

He was most recently country head of Luxembourg, further strengthening his experience leading State Street's operations in a European financial market.

His replacement for country head of Luxembourg will be announced in due course.

Denis Dollaku, CEO of SSBI, says: “We are delighted to welcome Riccardo back to Italy and look forward to his leadership in this important market. Italy remains one of our most important markets in Europe, and Riccardo is well positioned to lead our next chapter of growth there.

“He combines deep knowledge of our business, strong client relationships, and international leadership experience, making him the right person to help us strengthen our presence and continue delivering for clients across the market.”
