TC Group has appointed Lee Marshall as head of Luxembourg for JTC, succeeding Joost Mees.
In this position, Marshall will continue as the managing director and member of the board for JTC Luxembourg.
He will also take on the additional responsibilities for Luxembourg leading the further development and expansion of JTC's services in Luxembourg.
Lee will be supported by Hans de Zwart who continues to lead JTC Luxembourg’s corporate services team, and Louis Lamotte who continues to lead JTC Luxembourg’s alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) services team.
Joost Mees, previously managing director, head of Luxembourg, will transition to an expanded global role as regional head of continental Europe at institutional capital services (ICS), JTC, with oversight responsibility for our offices in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, and the firm’s new platform in Germany.
With additional responsibilities for overseeing sales across ‘Rest of World’, Mees will focus on sharpening JTC's sales strategy, driving business development initiatives and client service across key international markets.
Lee Marshall brings over two decades of international financial services leadership to JTC.
The firm says his expertise in the fund industry, operational efficiency and technology enhancement makes him suited to lead JTC’s Luxembourg operations through its next phase of growth.
Commenting on the transition, Kate Beauchamp, group head of Institutional Capital Services, (ICS) says: "This is an exciting chapter for our Luxembourg office. Lee’s proven leadership and industry insight will be invaluable as we continue to grow in Luxembourg.
“At the same time, Joost’s transition into a regional leadership role, including sales leadership across the UK, Channel Islands and Europe, marks an important step in the evolution of our client strategy and market reach. “
Mees adds: "Our growing client book and growth in the fund administration space within Luxembourg are in the right hands with Lee. We have built good foundations in the past six years and I am excited to see our Luxembourg office growing to the next level as we enter a new leadership era.”
