Waystone has been granted a Company Service Provider (CSP) licence in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), expanding its corporate services offering in the UAE.

The licence allows Waystone to provide corporate services in the ADGM alongside its existing operations in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and onshore UAE.

Under the licence, the firm will provide services to special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and other corporate structures, including company incorporation, corporate secretarial, registered office, domiciliation, and director services.

Waystone said the expansion will allow clients establishing and managing structures in the UAE to work with a single provider across the country’s key financial markets.

The move comes amid continued growth across the UAE’s financial services sector, with ADGM and DIFC attracting asset managers, financial institutions, and other international firms looking to establish operations and investment structures in the region.

Waystone expects demand for its ADGM offering to come particularly from sectors using specialist SPV structures, including aviation finance and leasing.

The firm already provides administration and directorship services to aviation clients across aircraft leasing, financing and securitisation structures.

The new licence extends the jurisdictions through which Waystone can support these vehicles.

The addition of ADGM also expands Waystone’s international corporate services platform, which includes operations in Ireland, Luxembourg, Singapore, the UK, and the US, as the firm continues to build its Middle East capabilities.

Nigel Pasea, country head, Middle East at Waystone, says: “The UAE has developed into an increasingly important market for international financial institutions, attracting significant investment, and new market entrants.

“Clients establishing structures here want providers that combine local expertise with international capabilities, and our expanded presence means we can now provide that support across all of the UAE’s major international financial centres.”

Patricia O’Connor, managing director of Corporate Services at Waystone, adds: “Obtaining our CSP licence in ADGM is a significant milestone for our Corporate Services business and for our clients.

“We have seen strong interest from existing clients across Ireland, Luxembourg, and other jurisdictions who are excited about expanding into the UAE and are looking for a trusted partner to support that growth.

“With licences now covering ADGM, DIFC, and onshore UAE, we can provide a seamless corporate services offering across the region, helping clients establish, and manage their structures with confidence.”
