TaxTec Group has appointed William Gibson as president of its US entity, TaxTec Inc.

Gibson brings over 45 years of experience across the global financial services industry, with extensive experience in investment management, financial services operations, and strategic leadership.

Gibson has previously held senior leadership positions at ING Investment Management, New York Life Investment Management, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and Barclays Group.

Based in New York, Gibson joins Mike Solo in TaxTec Group’s US leadership team, which the firm explains brings together complementary expertise across investment management, asset servicing, and complex global operating models.

The firm further expresses that Gibson’s appointment reflects its commitment to build a strong presence in the US market and develop deeper relationships across the industry.

Speaking on the appointment, Stephen Everard, CEO of TaxTec, says: “Will brings a wealth of business and operational prowess to our c-suite team.

“His appointment is another important step in the evolution of TaxTec as the market leading tax tech firm.”
