Sean Lynch has left BNY after two decades with the firm, most recently serving as senior director.
During this period he simultaneously acted as head of global transfer agency and subaccounting operations service delivery, president and chairman of the board for BNY US Investor Services, and director on board of BNY US Trust Company.
Prior to that, he was vice president of broker dealer services for over 15 years also at BNY.
Previously, he worked as a control service officer at Boston Financial Data Services for half a decade.
Starting at First Data Corporation he worked as a director of corporate actions for eight years.
Lynch wrote in a social media post: “After 20 remarkable years with BNY, I have decided to step away and begin the next phase of my professional journey.
“Reflecting on the past three plus decades, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships that have shaped my career. I have had the privilege of working alongside talented colleagues, trusted clients, and respected industry peers who challenged me, supported me, and helped me grow as a leader.
“One of the aspects I am most proud of is the way our industry has consistently come together during periods of change and uncertainty. Whether responding to regulatory transformation or navigating major market events, I have witnessed firsthand the power of collaboration and shared purpose.”
